KNIT TOGETHER IN HIM
Our hearts are knit together in love! That's what the Father says about us.
The word translated "love," in this particular portion of Scripture, is
agape. Agape never means, "I will love you, if....," but implies, "I will
love you, regardless!"
God's unconditional love is just like that, brought to life, when a
blood-covenant relationship has been established. We are covenanted together
by the Blood of the Lamb. We are in Him. And He is in us. That means you and
I are in each other! If one member hurts, the whole Body feels that pain. In
other words, we are touched with the other's infirmities.
You may know of some individuals, with whom there is no desire to be knit
together. In fact, their behavior may be a significant challenge. But we are
commanded to walk in love! So, let's do it! Start releasing the love (agape)
that's been shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Spirit. Toss fear, worry
and doubt out the door! Peace, joy and power will be their replacement. In
other words, "It is my will to love you!"
LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! Agape is beyond defeat. The Bible says, Love never fails.
Faith works by love. And, without faith, it is impossible to please Him. When
you release love into a matter, God is totally free to move. Think about
that! When love is channeled into a situation, all Heaven has been licensed
to move on your behalf. Jesus becomes responsible for its success.
The Word of God is love!
The Name of Jesus is love!
The Gifts of the Spirit are love!
The Blood of Jesus is love!
We are born of the Holy Spirit, Who is love!
Heaven is love!
Love is Heaven!!
Two years ago, the Holy Spirit related the following: "Heaven and earth have
never been closer. In fact they are touching one another, this very moment.
Have I not said, My will is to be done on earth, as it is in Heaven? Be
obedient to those nudgings and promptings. Climb into Daddy's lap. Hear His
heart beating, just for you! Out of that intimacy will come revelation. From
the revelation, there will be a manifestation."
As I ponder the many miracles and manifestations in this ministry, the Father
draws me to identical twins in one of our services. Both were born with
severely twisted limbs. Numerous surgeries had been planned. However, their
Roman Catholic grandmother decided to give Jesus a chance. Agape compelled
that lady! What faith she had!! As each love soaked word proceeded from the
platform, those little ones just listened. Perhaps the two comprehended the
message. Possibly, they didn't. Regardless, His agape was there. I will never
forget the look on their precious faces, as they stood before me, totally
healed. The place broke out in thunderous applause for Him!
In another case, the man standing before this evangelist looked kind of mean,
was not well kept, didn't appear all that appealing and lovable. He had been
struck by lightning, which almost resulted in death, leaving his frame
twisted and impaired. A lengthy hospitalization stay kept him alive. Talk
about having a bad day! Yet, as I laid hands on that individual's head, a
vision swiftly arrived and was shared with those in the auditorium. In my
mind's eye, the victim was slowly walking, then subsequently gaining
momentum, until that dear soul was running at an olympic pace!! He was
overcome by the Holy Spirit. I will never forget his words, while he was
lying on that floor..."Man, what a rush!!" Lightning had struck, once more!
Well, today, completely healed, he is doing just that...running! The agape
love of God brought love and life into that situation. Death could not stand
in its presence. Agape love is always trying to find new ways of expressing
itself.
It's all about grace...unmerited favor! We don't deserve anything from the
Throne Zone. Our personal righteousness is nothing! Nevertheless, He has chosen
us to be the apple of His eye! Because of what Jesus did, two-thousand years
ago, the Creator of this universe is our Daddy!! Nothing flows from His
heart, but pure, uninterrupted agape!! Are we to offer this sick and dying
planet anything less? No!!
The person who refuses to love is missing out on the very best God has to
offer, while posturing himself/herself to plug up the very lifeline of
Heaven, that which is so terribly needed on this end. Don't place yourself in
that category. We are to be conduits of absolute life (Zoe). Release agape,
every moment, in each circumstance, with every prayer and thought, until it
totally consumes your being. The very act of surrendering, in that fashion,
will strengthen you and cast out fears, which have prevented His greater
blessings from being realized. The enemy will be driven out of your affairs,
as torments also vanish!
Right now, be still before the Lord and sense His marvelous flow of agape,
mercy, the blessed love of Jesus, surfacing within, as a fountain of living
water. Then love others with the agape of God. If the process seems
challenging, remember, once you release love into a situation, Jesus becomes
responsible for its success, the final outcome.
Love never fails! So, let's invest in a certain win!
