Heaven's Red Light!
"This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says, 'In
repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength...'"

the spear, he burns the shields with fire. 'Be still, and know that I am
God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.'"

Not many years ago, I became acquainted with a man whose dashboard light
would illuminate and remain that way whenever the engine of his automobile was
engaged. Without question, you can probably identify with a potential
mechanical problem in your life, and with the feeling associated with such an
experience. Under those circumstances, most of us would open the glove box and pull
out the vehicle's operating manual for further insight. After all, for the
gentleman, that disturbing signal remained an obvious indicator that something
was undoubtedly wrong under the hood, the "first sign" of a possible motor
attack!
What's interesting about those lights, as valuable as they are, is this.
When triggered, they can be accurate and indicative of a future problem down the
road, literally and figuratively, since each was meticulously installed by
the manufacturer for that express purpose, of keeping us out of trouble!
Ignoring them is clearly foolish, not unlike playing Russian Roulette. Losing the
game equates to considerable catastrophic and costly loss.
Let's return to that previously mentioned driver. Rather than perceiving the
red signal as a helpful indicator, or friend to both life and wallet, he
formulated what was in his mind, the perfect solution to that dilemma. Entering
the family garage, a roll of black electrical tape was discovered, retrieved
and utilized by the soon-to-be victim of shortcuts and denial. A two inch
section was cut from the reel and skillfully placed over the nuisance. The
issue seemed resolved, even though that consistently glowing red light hauntingly
reminded the owner of impending doom. Nevertheless, over time, his
neuropathways reconfigured, and he became desensitized to the warning.
You know, his unwise response to the car's complaint actually worked for a
few months. However, that proverbial day of reckoning did arrive. A long trip
had been planned by the family. With a tank full of fuel, the crew headed
down the highway with gleeful anticipation of a smooth ride and restful
vacation.
An hour or so into their jaunt, the engine began to moan and groan,
emanating noises and spewing billows of smoke that fearfully defied the imagination
of the vehicle's occupants. Then suddenly, a small explosion, considerable
vibration and huge dent in the hood forced the procrastinator to the side of the
highway. Throwing a rod, the motor immediately died. A small
consolation...the little red light ceased protesting! The complacent denier wouldn't have to
worry anymore about that annoyance. The tape could be removed without
further concern or consideration. The engine was dead. Forward movement became a
memory of the past.
To some extent, we can all identify with that story. How often have
shortcuts been taken to avoid even the most minor of inconveniences? Personally, I
chose to spend a summer and fall adding water to my radiator almost daily,
rather than repairing an inexpensive, miniscule leak in the system. My final
reward for that approach was a new engine.
Ignoring our beautiful and comprehensive Blood Covenant with the Father
isn't always instantly fatal. Christians can usually squeak by for a while, even
though the Holy Spirit is triggering that still, small Voice within the heart
of man for a perpetuation of Heaven's blessings and benefits. The
discerner's "black tape" of busyness and denial work well in masking the obvious and
real, that meant to facilitate a flow, while birthing the miraculous and
Supernatural for the benefit of humanity.
What have we really and truly missed as a direct result of not listening? In
order to effectively hear, there must be a cultivation of Dad's Presence, a
boldness in entering the Throne Zone, as well as a quality decision to reside
in the Secret Place of the Most High, under the protective and provisional
Shadow of the Almighty.
Within moments and hours of my home, I can take you to people of all ages,
who were seemingly randomly called by this writer...often a semi-stranger to
them with a word from the Lord, received during periods of non-activity and
availability. The end result of those small portions of obedience was the
healing of metastatic sarcoma in a teenage girl, the disappearance of sizeable
cerebral tumors, Supernatural provision, among other life-saving miracles.
Most of us would delight in such results. I surely do. But there's also a
solid knowing that much has been lost and missed, due to personal agendas, the
cares of this world and deceitfulness of influence. That fact is a
frightening actuality to me!
In plain terms, multitudes hang in the balance of the Bride hearing from
Heaven! Let us not blame God when life spins in a negative direction. We have
the keys to hell and death as Joint-Heirs with our Redeemer. Even the devil
isn't the primary sustainer of all woes. We, the Church, have far too often
missed the mark. Many perish for lack of knowledge or refusing to discern the
finished work of Christ! It's not too late to get back on track and turn this
world upside down with and for His Glory.
The Family must make a quality decision, from whence there's no return, to
cease covering that "Red Light." The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord,
or place in which the Revelator makes known His perfect will. A candle power,
similar to that dashboard signal, illuminates the distance required for
taking one step at a time, which is all He expects of us.
Does the Word not also say that the steps of a righteous man are ordained of
the Lord? So, Glory's progression, more often than not, offers only a single
step for the follower of Christ. Beyond that, further Supernatural Light is
required for steps two, three and four.
Remember this! All journeys begin with a word... direction, determination
and forward moment. One cannot take shortcuts or skip grades in the Kingdom.
Promotion comes from above, at Dad's discretion. Entering the Land of Promise
can be expedited by following that inner Road Map, Heaven's Radar.
A dear friend of mine purchased one of the most impressive yachts I've ever
seen or piloted. He loved that craft, kept it washed, polished and protected
from the outside elements. On one occasion, leaving Portland (Maine) Harbor,
Ed traveled the depths of the Atlantic, finally losing site of the shoreline.
Frankly, he was "out there" where the big fish reside.
With two engines propelling the yacht, Ed was confident of having plenty of
power for any given nautical plan. Regardless, this joyride surprisingly took
on a different spin, particularly when the Captain realized that his oil
hadn't been changed in either diesel unit. Consequently, both motors were
severely compromised, not to mention the family's bank account.
The Holy Spirit initiated that internal warning signal. Returning to land
would be ludicrous, if not impossible! So, Ed sought the Revelator for
direction. The Standby immediately retorted..."Pray over those engines!"
Closing his eyes, my friend quickly called upon Heaven, then checked the
Father's work. Pulling indictor rods from their respective homes, he discovered
that the petroleum product had a gloriously pristine color, likened unto
honey and suggestive of new oil!
When dealing with diesels, the fluid darkens rapidly. This was new oil! The
Perfecter had rectified that situation, as only He can, by changing the
tainted liquid! Ignoring that inner-stirring would have resulted in significant
loss. The Spirit of Truth does bring all things to our remembrance!
Let's attend to His Word right now.
Seasonal Anticipation!
"Redeemed One, I Am not slack concerning Heaven's myriad of promises and
provisions. That which has been spoken from these lips must materialize, since
no word from God is void of the Power necessary for bringing itself to pass.
Know this! The Lover of Souls meticulously watches over every jot and tittle
for manifestation. Consider the lilies and all else that depends upon a
sequential series of the miraculous for life and balance. Upholding everything by
the word of Glory's Power, the Great I Am has ventured before creation, making
the crooked places straight and preparing special locations for the
miraculous to unfold. Though the vision tarries, wait for it, since the Seed of Life
is going through various stages of growth, movement and development, in that
invisible but tangible realm of the unseen, for the express purpose of
cultivating fruit. Intimacy, revelation, gestation and manifestation should be
recognized and honored in the process of forward movement, while My will is done
on earth, exactly as it is in Heaven. When feeling faint in waiting for Dad's
hand to move, feed upon the Word, and practice the Lord's Presence. In it is
the fullness of joy; and the joy of the Lord remains the Body's strength.
Meekness (restrained Power) can never be perceived as weakness from this end.
Be mindful of the following fact. You are simply calling, or speaking into
being, that which already exists and resides within the Fifth Dimension. In
these marvelous days of the Spirit, the unseen will become more real than the
naturally palpable, particularly for the visionary, those walking in the
prophetic and living in Covenant. Are you ready for more Good News? To the extent
that Glory's Bride abides in the Word, that same Life will generate Divine
Power in and through each Vessel. In simple terms, the potency, effectiveness and
extent of outpouring will be in direct proportion to one's personal
commitment and investment in his Throne Room stay. Sowing unto the Spirit translates
into unending Fruits of Righteousness and Redemption. Ponder that precious
moment when Jesus gave up His Life on Calvary's Hill...the epitome of obedience
and surrender. What happened? Glory's overflow moved upon the earth in a
such fashion that the very dead could not resist its overwhelming influence. I
Am talking about a Supernatural Spillage, originating from bowels of
compassion. Out of your belly will flow Rivers of Living Water, again, determined by
the measure and extent of the Christian's availability and surrender. Walking
in the Spirit is, can and should be a twenty-four-hour-a-day mandate and
personal habit. The effectiveness of each call will be comprehensively realized
and appreciated as that victorious cross of obedience is taken up, with the
Holy Spirit directing each step. May I say this about the cross? The Savior
resided and bled upon that tree, resulting in the richest of anointings for
those choosing to maintain their position there. As previously stated, the
Kingdom offers no jobs, which are common to natural man, only assignments. Toward
that end, prepare yourself to shift gears, even midstream, in cooperating
with the Wind of Heaven. Still waters and green pastures lie directly ahead.
Even where the most threatening of storms have been plaguingly impacting forward
movement, the Church will transport Her unction to dead and dry regions for
a watering and display of the miraculous. The Son is poised to rise with
healing in His wings. You are riding Glory's Eagle of Deliverance. Prepare
yourself for travel and absolute victory!"
