The Good And Perfect!

The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light (revelation knowledge)." Matthew 6:22

How often have you been told that an individual is being punished by God for iniquities or wrong decisions in life? Even in a recent newspaper, one well-known and respected Christian broadcaster alluded to the serious medical condition of a world leader, stating, "Because of his sin, the Lord had given him this life-threatening malady."

What's interesting about that particular comment, one deemed silly and insensitive from my vantage point, is the media's recognition and conveyance of those horribly indicting, fictitious words. If only the miraculous would enjoy such coverage! However, I can prophetically promise you this. Even the blindest of eyes will both see and acknowledge Heaven's Glory in the months and years to come.

The Father is not shy. Most of what He accomplishes usually becomes quite public and duly documented, from the Old Testament's burning bush, to the parting of waters, Supernatural provision, and raising of the dead. Sodom and Gomorrah are another example of His openness. Again, God isn't afraid of Himself or anyone else. When those cities were reduced to black smudges and smears, everyone knew why, when, what and Who! Hypothetically, if He were to initiate punishment, Heaven would resoundingly announce the reason and Source. We wouldn't be merely speculating with orations of hearsay and the ridiculous.

God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son to save and serve, not judge, condemn and destroy. That's the enemy's ministry. The Most High has had centuries of opportunity to wipe out this planet, but never took advantage of that option, not since Christ's arrival and a reversing of the curse. To the contrary, Dad rains down Gold Dust and precious gems, initiates awesome signs and wonders, wins the lost, heals the sick and raises the dead. Not only is that Glory's focus, but ours, as well!

Jesus made Heaven's mindset abundantly apparent when the Great Commission was afforded the Church. Restoration and reconciliation were to be the Believer's primary goal. We're told not to judge or injure others. Why would the Bride's Lover operate from any other standard? He's not a hypocrite. Neither does the Commander-in-Chief have an impulse control disorder. As He is, we've become in this world, bone of the Savior's bone, flesh of His flesh, and Branches of the Vine.

Contemplate that notorious fig tree, cursed two-thousand-years ago. Strolling along, Christ noticed that it wasn't bearing fruit. Leaves were visible, but no beneficial product had presented. Plants and trees can't sin. That particular growth hadn't done anything wrong, aside from displaying no potential harvest. We are spiritually located by the fruit of our walk with Christ.

As with that fig tree, you and I demonstrate spiritual worth by what we say and do. The sin issue has been forever settled. Let it never be said that Jesus failed in His finished work. Heaven is well prepared for an abundant provision of full sufficiency in everything pertaining to life and godliness. The Throne Room has no shortage of goodness, mercy, grace, love, signs and wonders, as well as the miraculous. Heaven is looking for fruit on our branches, or lives ...Divine works of the Supernatural, unconditional love and consequent miracles. Branches of the Vine, which we have become, can accomplish all that.

God's Secret Place is wisdom oriented. It possesses and dispenses incredible amounts of knowledge and understanding. Solutions, remedies, answers and insight are what excite and move Our Father. You and I are conduits of Heaven's will for this earth and her people. As His Delivery System, a great deal hangs in the balance of the Christian's obedience and willingness to manifest fruits of righteousness...His!

The Almighty can't and won't deliver what He doesn't have. Neither will God go against His own Word and Covenant, while negating the unfathomable price our Savior paid on Calvary's Hill for this planet's freedom. Using Satan's implements against humanity would be akin to poisoning one's own children. In America, we'd be arrested for what has been frequently attributed to the Lord by misguided people. Once more, should any parent treat a youngster in such abusive fashion, he would be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, not to mention the likely permanent extraction and placement of other minor victims.

How can anyone sincerely and intelligently ever imagine that God could pronounce and initiate atrocities? He's a wonderful Lord, the Prince of Peace, a Creator of balance, the beautiful and beneficial. No wonder masses are confused about His character, nature and will, all of which have been modified through the Blood of Christ and His completed work.

Let me give you a most recent example of God's miracle-generating grace. My mother had been residing on her own. Independence and autonomy have always been important to her, as it usually is with everyone. Several months ago, she presented with mild hallucinations, which, as a clinician, gained my immediate attention. This parent progressively worsened to a point where she didn't recognize me. Bizarre behavior necessitated "blue-papering" Mom into a local Medical Center. That wasn't an easy decision to make. Seemingly, the worst case scenario was death. The best projected outcome, if survival ensued, would be a nursing home and perhaps knowing me on a half time basis. I couldn't imagine making a decision of that magnitude.

Several days after admission, the scenario worsened. Mother's lungs were invaded by several emboli. On a recent morning, a clot mercilessly blew its way through her heart, an event that should have been fatal. My heart sank. We were rapidly losing ground. Satan was going after both of us!

I've held hundreds of miracle services over the years, ministering to millions in various parts of the world. Keeping track of the uncountable signs and wonders would have been impossible. They were innumerable! Whenever the Holy Spirit and I share a platform together, the unprecedented and unpredictable invariably happen.

Hearing His Voice in such a setting is second nature to me. That's one thing this writer does fairly well. However, when it comes to people who are closest, the Holy Spirit obviously works overtime in breaking through personal barriers of skewed objectivity and associated baggage. My mother's grave condition was one of those cases.

New Year's Eve held the answer. Little did I know that the day would be notable and special in terms of revelation and breakthrough. While sitting in a movie theater with friends, being blessed by "The Chronicles of Narnia," an identifiable Presence, One so familiar to me, filled the auditorium. My attention shifted from the feature to that still, small Voice on the inside. The word of the Lord swiftly assumed center-stage. This is what He said: "Paul, I Am giving your mother back to you in 2006. She will be spared. Also, in the world and ministry, things will come to life, and death will turn backwards."

The rest is history! Following numerous MRI's, CT Scans, echocardiograms, carotid performance exams, x-rays and other sophisticated procedures, the Lord totally healed my Mother in a next to overnight process. As of today, there's nothing wrong with her! This parent's mind maintains a sharpness evident when I was twelve. Her memory is impeccable. If the truth be known, it's better than mine!

All of this transpired within hours of that revelatory word at the movie theater. He can speak to us anywhere! When it happens, the disclosed takes of flesh, becomes tangible, palpable and real.

The Christian's attentiveness determines outcome. Having ears to hear is paramount, if we are to enter into agreement with the Throne Room's call and witness the miraculous. The Church is, indeed, the Voice of His Word among the nations.

You see, I felt helpless! "Lord, with what this Servant knows about Covenant and your unconditional love, what else can be done, aside from throwing myself upon the Blood's mercy and grace?" Neither button nor lever could be pushed or pulled to move Glory's hand. Skillful articulation fell short. "Father, let this heart cry be my prayer!" He heard me and resoundingly responded! The Blood never loses its Power to set at liberty them who have been bruised by the enemy! Know that!

In the natural, Mother and I were far from being sinless, holy or perfect. Only in Him could we boast and have our being. Within this dilemma, the verdict was clear. Healed! Love ruled the day, as it perpetually does when seeking His face and declaring the "Good News!"

The Standby is doing just that. Let's attend to, and honor, His mandate!

Times And Seasons!

"Valued Child, have you noticed how humanity has a penchant for living from crisis to crisis and event to event, instead of maintaining their being in the moment or present, while enjoying My Presence and promises, smelling those proverbial roses and acknowledging Me in all their ways? Why worry? Does the Word not clearly instruct the Family to take no thought? The Revelatory has been, is, and will be fully sufficient in providing whatever's required for any given minute or hour. Times and seasons lie in these able hands. Listen well! Be keenly cognizant of those special shiftings and periods when, like the wind, the Holy Spirit switches gears and steers the Bride in the direction of Glory's miraculous. Look around! What do you see? So many are oblivious to their respective surroundings, not to mention Heaven's Voice of Transmission and Transference. Oh, what is missed, lost and not enjoyed because of the busyness of society and cares of this world. One word from the Throne Room can turn nations upside down for Dad's Glory. Let Me further enlighten those with ears to hear and hearts of understanding regarding the Kingdom of God, which has been likened unto a seed. In the Father's economy, there are no jobs, only assignments, although a job can be an assignment. As with the Children of Israel, you have been called and commissioned to stand at the Table of Readiness. Having done all to stand, stand, and be prepared and willing when the Cloud of your commission moves. Envision the wind, likened unto the Holy Spirit. On any given day, discern the unpredictability of its velocity and shifts. No one can predict that entity's activity. Nevertheless, upholding all things by the Word of My Power, the great I Am points His finger, even by way of the Children, and the very elements obey the slightest of Heaven's intentions and directives. Atoms and molecules are totally influenced and controlled by that specifically inherent Unction, or Anointing, within the Church. What has prevented those 'greater works' to date has been an absence of intimacy and attention, because desires invariably follow each...attention and intimacy. Again, seasonal shifts are poised to influence the cognition and behavior of every Believer, toward an end of replicating the exact works of the Risen Lord, and yes, even mightier exploits. This, indeed, is that era which has been prophesied and waited upon for centuries. You have been standing long, hard and well. Prepare to move and make way for the Author and Finisher of Faith. Barren fig trees are about to adorn Supernatural fruit. When Jesus returns, He will find faith...His, impressively and redemptively operating in and through the Body of Christ. Savor the moment. Be aware of what's around you, as there are no mistakes along the Pathway of Righteousness. Fret not! Smell the roses...Heaven's literal Fragrance! I Am with you...Beloved, for this planet's good, not evil. Don't waste energy over hell's lies and other fabrications. The Glory will vindicate, as it did on that third day!"
