The Meal That Heals!

"And the Lord brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs, and with wonders." Deuteronomy 26:8

"Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know." Acts 2:22

"Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall we not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness (those difficult, dark and dry places), and rivers in the desert (an outpouring of the Spirit in regions never experiencing His Light, Life and fullness)." Isaiah 43:19

"For the vision is but for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak (move in that womb of your spirit), and not lie (remain unseen): though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry." Habakkuk 2:3

Kansas City, Missouri

Allyce had been diagnosed with metastatic sarcoma, which savagely invaded her lymphatic glands, shoulder and liver. The 17-year-old was previously a healthy adolescent who enjoyed family, friends and outdoor sports. The finding potentially marked the beginning of the end, as this patient entered an active regimen of chemotherapy in December of last year.

Attendance at a local high school was erratic, at best. Officials granted permission for Allyce to do what was possible at home, in terms of studies and assignments. Upon arising each morning, the youth's day would usually be determined either by symptoms from the malignancy or an associated consequence of the medical team's treatment plan. I personally can't imagine what was flowing through that brave girl's mind back then, as she faced an obviously uncertain future.

Common sense would conclude that the malignancy was rampantly invading the body's immune system, blood, bones and organs. It would seem that more than a few sessions of chemotherapy would be required to save Allyce's young life.

I'll never forget the Sunday that Allyce's story appeared on the front page of our local newspaper. In fact, the feature was published in January of this year. Within my heart, there was an immediate sinking, followed by an excitement about this teen's life.

We're all special, but the Lord had made one point very clear to me. "Paul, Allyce is called, and My hand remains richly upon her for good, and not evil. Connect with the girl's parents. Let them know how I feel, along with the fact that their daughter will be just fine."

God's mandate, associated with a profound gift of faith, was followed up by a half-hour conversation with Allyce's mother and father. I shared the revelation. They were more than beside themselves. Nothing could be too good for their ailing daughter. In fact, they had a proactive plan to provide this teen with the very best care, regardless of cost.

In retrospect, they did. Another Specialist had introduced Himself into the picture. He never loses a patient. His gifts and calling are without cost or repentance, and He faithfully watches over Heaven's Word and Covenant for the express purpose of fulfilling all promises!

To make a long story short, within days of the pronouncement, Allyce was given another battery of tests, including a PET. The resultant diagnosis was indeed definitive. No "hot spots," or cancer cells could be found in her body. The Miracle Girl could return to school as a full-time student, and is currently captain of the field hockey team! Needless to say, the media followed up with two additional reports of that marvelous healing.

What a wonderful Jesus we serve! All too often, Believers fail to listen and be obedient to His nudgings and promptings. What hangs in the balance of our yieldedness? Only full surrender can answer that question.

I'll tell you this. The Body of Christ exists to establish God's Kingdom on earth, exactly as it is in Heaven. Nothing matters more than selling out and following Him...the Author and Finisher of our faith. That will surely translate into a laying down of one's life for others, accompanied by the same results Jesus evidenced during His earthly ministry. Beyond those exploits, we've been promised "even greater works than these!"

This planet has never enjoyed such an exciting hour. Nevertheless, we are within a time and season that require a recognition of who the Christian is in Christ, as well as His finished work and everything associated with the Blood Covenant. Many perish for lack of knowledge, failing to identify their rights and privileges in Him, not discerning the Lord's body. In that light, there is a meal that heals. Let's entertain that rich premise.

I'll never forget one of many trips to Nashville. This jaunt, in particular, involved an international television appearance with Sid Roth, after which Larry Huch, myself, and a few others enjoyed Communion between telecasts. The experience was awesome, as we recognized and discussed its significance. A special Presence filled the room. Jesus was there with us!

Without question or restricted frequency, Jesus has certainly invited the Church to His table. As often as this is done in remembrance of Him and Calvary's finished work, I truly believe that Spiritual Antibodies are vitally infused into every fiber of our being. To live is Christ! The Church is bone of His bone and flesh of that precious flesh.

Those thirty-nine stripes, representing an identical number of medically categorized diseases, were received for the Bride's literal healing and continued health. Each time that cruel cat of nine tails tore into the Savior's sinless body, another malady was legally and permanently driven from the Family. The Son had decided to truly "pay it forward!" Golgotha's cross finished the job. Think of the Blood Covenant in this light. Disease has no more right to one's body than sin has to the soul. Both are trespassers and mockers of Covenant! The entire debt is marked "Paid In Full!" No other fee is due.

Communion places an exclamation mark on our rights and privileges in Him. The process has a progressive nature. First, the Christian is encouraged to examine his heart for potential midcourse corrections, relative to attitudes and behaviors not lining up with the Word and God's perfect will. The Holy Spirit additionally helps us with those infirmities...sins of the flesh, regions where victory could never be received without the Standby. Repentance follows, after which the Bread, indicative of the Redeemer's physical sacrifice...Christ's broken body, facilitating Divine health for the Family, and Cup...signifying the Blood's remittance or blasting away of iniquity, as far as the East is from the West, are readily and firmly acknowledged, discerned, championed and ingested.

Understand this! Nothing gains Heaven's attention more quickly than Communion and the fulfillment of that particular command. In essence, the Glory broods over God's table. This, again, is the meal that heals...from sickness, poverty and death, to promotion, provision, protection and favor.

Many perish in their failure to discern the Lord's Body and comprehensiveness of Covenant. Judas Iscariot encountered the business end of Heaven's Glory, didn't he? The deceiver shared Communion with Jesus and the other disciples. However, there was active sin in the man's heart. For Iscariot, the meal didn't heal, but instead, led to that betrayer's demise!

There is, indeed, a lethal facet to His Presence. The Ark of the Covenant attests to that, along with Sodom and Gomorrah, Ananias and Sapphira. They all stepped over the line and pushed the proverbial envelope. Each paid a hefty price.

Fire can either cook a meal or burn down one's house. Gravity sustains us on this planet. If we're determined to go against that established law and jump off a skyscraper, gravity may not be so friendly. Playing with fire falls into the same category.

The Bride is not to fear! You've been deemed the righteousness of God in Christ. Judgement for the Church arrives by way of the Blood. When personally facing the Most High, I'll speak forth two qualifying words. "Guilty! But innocent by way of the Blood!" What a combination! The gate will readily open, because my salvation is totally dependent upon the completed work of our Redeemer and Power behind Glory's Covenant! How can we be convinced of that? The Word forever settles the matter!

Earlier in the week, the Revelator accorded a marvelous vision, actually a continuation of an unveiling received December 24, 1999 (Archives Section), just before Trinity Broadcasting Network's "live" manifestation of the Glory Dust before millions around the world. An Open Heaven was the theme back then. This is what I saw a few days ago:

The Vision:

Under an Open Heaven, I quickly discerned an unprecedented gravitational pull, as the Glory of God rapidly advanced to the four corners of the earth, once more attracted by the Word within each Believer's heart...those dreams, visions and desires implanted over the years by the King of Kings. Where sin abounded, grace much more gained ascendency. Like water seeking low and dry places, the very Life of God continued flooding those venues of darkness, despair and defeat. Regions attesting to Satan's season of illusional potency...medical centers, cemeteries, troubled souls, fragmented identities and relationships, would no longer be able to resist the Overcoming, Glory's move on that proverbial chessboard, as the miraculous, that Fifth Dimension, gained creative and restorative Power and ascendency over the curse of the law. Sizable Gold Sheets were tangibly and palpably carried by the Wind of the Spirit. Each suddenly appeared where only emptiness once existed. The Revelator had much to say about His plans for the nations.

A Christ Of Provision And Power!

"Who, in the natural, can fathom the love of the Father in Christ? The mightiest Force in the universe resides in creation's venue of the unseen, that which up to now could only be envisioned through the eye of faith. Has it not been written that dreams and visions are the language of the Holy Spirit? Furthermore, the heart of man is the candle of the Lord, or place in which He makes known Heaven's will. Ponder the manifestations inherent within the Old Covenant. To many, parting waters and multiplying loaves and fishes were exploits, merely a part of past history, something indigenous to the times and seasons of another era. Only eyes and ears of revelation can fully appreciate the vastness and awesomeness of what the Spirit is declaring to the Church. Those Gold Sheets in the previously related vision connote a literal form of fallout, but also are suggestive of the density and intensity of what I Am about to perform in a countermove reserved for today's prophetic era, that long-awaited hour when this earth will continue evolving in an insatiable hunger for more...a graphic and abundantly obvious reversal of the curse. The Redeemer's Blood on the Mercy Seat will no longer be tempered and resisted, as the enemy flees the ensuing Flood of Grace. No atom or molecule will be unaffected in this process of restoration and reconciliation. I would make you mindful of the elements, as the Savior was being crucified, that moment of choice, when He surrendered His spirit to the Most High. The very earth moved under the Son's feet. Many who had slept, yes, even for years, were seen walking around the city. Darkness attested to the bitter fight that ultimately led to hell's eternal demise. Reflect on the resurrection and ascension. Death wasn't strong enough to retain that surrendered, glorified Body within it's confines. Your God is about to break out of that proverbial box and color outside of traditional, religious lines. Look for the Gold, those flowing and floating Leaves of Brilliance...shining, deliverance, prosperity, protection, provision and promotion. Hear this without reservation or restriction! No tangible surface will elude the pending Rain...the former and latter in a month's time. Similar to the gathering of daily dust, so shall the Glory gather in innumerable forms, and fall on a continual basis. One would best liken that Downpour to the Throne Room's provision of manna. Mindsets and schemas of old will drop to their knees in the wake of the slated onslaught. Let me say this about America. Some have prophesied doom and gloom. My word to this beautiful nation remains solid. Your best hour is yet to come, as Dad's hand is richly upon you for good, and not evil. President Bush will be delivered the most astounding victories of any leader during the remaining days of his administration. Faithful is the One that called him, Who also will perform the perfect work. The Word in that anointed man's heart was placed there by Me, not to fail, but succeed. The Cloud continues to form and flow. Make way for a Christ of both Presence and Power!"
