Coloring Outside The Lines!
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord,
are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of
the Lord." 2 Corinthians 3:18
"As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life
for the sheep." John 10:15
"Greater love hath no man than this, than a man lay down his life (His
Life...the Father's through the Children) for his friends. Ye are my friends, if
ye do whatsoever I command you (walk in the Spirit)." John 15:13-14
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us
with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he
hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be
holy and without blame before him in love...." Ephesians 1:3-4
Who can possibly know the thoughts and ways of God? Far too many in the
world and Body of Christ perceive the Most High as the Master of all secrets,
when in fact, aside from being a Father Who delights in surprising His Children,
He yearns more than we know to share Heaven's intricacies with those making
a quality decision to draw nigh unto His heart.
Does the Word not indicate that the Throne Room is a place of both intimacy
and reason? You and I are to approach God without fear, shame or
sin-consciousness, for comfort, strategy and fellowship. No good thing will be withheld,
since we've been clearly promised full sufficiency in everything pertaining
to life and godliness.
In the natural, most Dads desire to share the very best of all they have
with their sons and daughters. Indeed, a parent's responsibility is to prepare
youngsters for life in a world of profound challenge and competition. Why
would the Creator be any different, particularly after the Bride has been
commissioned to represent Him in word, action, character and outcome? As Christ is,
we have become...Joint-Heirs, materially, physically, psychologically and,
most important, spiritually. It simply wouldn't make any sense at all for us to
be handicapped or short-changed in the performance of Glory's Great
Commission, since lives and destinies literally hang in the balance of our remaining
informed.
Knowing the truth promotes freedom of action and choice. The Church has been
promised liberal wisdom and knowledge. I personally thrill over the Word's
comprehensiveness and relevancy. The Holy Spirit contemporizes every line and
chapter, while infusing the reader with invigorating direction, leading to
manifestations of Covenant and the associated miraculous.
It has taken the Family two-thousand years for a conditioning of
ineffectiveness to become the norm, a place where Life has been separated from the Word.
Without a materialization of Covenant, we begin rationalizing, minimizing
and fabricating excuses for our own impotency and complacency. Signs and
wonders must follow the Word, from healings, deliverances and resurrections, to the
addition of names in the Lamb's Book of Life. Nothing is impossible, once
the Commander-in-Chief has spoken to a yielded and obedient heart.
I often reflect back to those pleasantly memorable kindergarten days, when a
wonderful teacher, Mrs. Bell, introduced her students to the "proper way" of
coloring. This writer had three distinct problems...breaking crayons,
scribbling and coloring outside of the lines. No matter how badly Paul's artwork
presented itself, Mrs. Bell consistently validated me for a job well done. She
discovered something that was "right" about my work. Either the woman was
blind, or perhaps she envisioned through the eye of faith. It was likely the
latter, since Mrs. Bell astutely noticed every other infraction of the rules. I
couldn't get away with anything.
That certainly was my launching point scholastically. This instructor had
established a baseline for life and ministry, one that I would use during
subsequent years in the appraisal of self-worth and affording myself permission to
make mistakes. Sadly, other instructors were not of her caliber. Neither
were they blessed with the same mindset. Isn't it amazing how a single person,
with a few kind words, can make such a significant difference in one's life?
Let's contemplate coloring outside of the lines. Jesus was like that, as
were the Father and Holy Spirit. At the crucifixion, the Holy of Holies couldn't
contain Glory's Presence. Thus, the veil was rent from top to bottom.
God cannot be contained, since He fills and upholds all things by the Word
of His Power. The Garden tomb was proof of that fact. Neither will the Lord
permit any human to call the shots and confine the Holy One to a traditional
box of formulas, theories and other expressions of unbelief.
The religious folk of the Savior's day were looking for a king who would
arrive with resounding fanfare and a prideful nature. Instead, He came as the
sinner's friend, hung out with prostitutes and others of questionable repute.
Healing the sick and raising the dead messed up their picture of Heaven's
Representative. The world had literally been shaken by the One chosen to bring
Heaven to earth. Tradition and pride attempted to stand in the way of receiving
and dispensing grace, goodness and mercy. Nevertheless, Jesus' knees
invariably bowed to a Greater Force.
Again, in these unprecedented days of the Spirit, we have been given
permission and, beyond that, a mandate to color outside of the lines. His will is to
be accomplished on earth, exactly as it is in Heaven. The Church can't be
influenced by the approval of man, or his quest for ego-building power and
identity. Instead, Her focus needs to be on the Throne, connected by an
infallible Line of Certainty...the precious Holy Spirit.
In performing unparalleled exploits, our link to Heaven cannot be broken.
Jesus impressively modeled that very posture and outcome for us. An entire
world hangs in the balance, as a great cloud of witnesses have taken their seats
around the portals of Glory. They, too, are eagerly anticipating our shining
and true representation of the King of Kings!
The revelator is poised to further thrill the souls of Heaven's focus. Let's
give place for His instruction.
Keep It Simple!
"Unconventional is indeed one of Heaven's many earmarks. Does the Word not
declare that My ways are far above those walking within the sense realm,
living far beneath their rights and privileges inherent within the Covenant? Who
can know the mind of God? That question was originally posed before
unregenerated man. However, those walking in the Spirit are already enjoying the
privileges articulated by the Blood's Voice on the Mercy Seat in the Heavenly Holy
of Holies. Precise revelatory knowledge belongs to the Family. Like leaping
from the highest of diving boards, the Believer is being wooed this very
moment to take the plunge into the depths of Glory's provision and, beyond that,
abundance, as darkness is displaced and ultimately obliterated. Prepare for
the Rain, while I color outside of traditional lines, as the hour of Grace and
Mercy demands a manifestation of the nature and essence of a loving Father.
For the most part, this world doesn't possess a clue concerning the
faithfulness and intensity of the Creator's affection for the Bride. Prepare for
spontaneous displays of that entity by way of signs and wonders, love letters from
the Secret Place. Heaven's storehouses are being prepped for a dispatching of
blessings, whatever is required to transform you into the express image of
Christ...spirit, soul, body, finances, Supernatural providence and ability to
move forward and fulfill that which has been gestated, often doubted and
criticized by naysayers and the traditionally oriented. In terms of time, this is
the Body's third day, an era of resurrection. The previously unmovable will
soon be relocated. I Am calling the Church to break out of Her restrictive
prison, while opening doors of anticipation and expectancy. A vessel can never
be full until it overflows. Such will be the case in the lives of those
choosing to appropriate the vastness of all purchased by the Obedient One at
Calvary's cross. Meekness is not weakness, but restrained strength. Let the weak
say, 'I am strong.' In quietness and confidence will true revelation and Power
be enjoyed. Have you ever wondered why I've been encouraging the Beloved to
look up? Heaven and earth are on a collision course. Upon merging, the
palpable discernment of Dad's company will be undeniable. Hear this well! Tarrying
time is passing. There are windows and doors of opportunity, recognized by
both sides. As a seasonal God of promise and delivery, no deadline will be
ignored or missed. I know the plans that the Glory has for this Generation of
Giants. Discern the Breeze in the mulberry trees. Lift up holy hands and
tangibly touch the spillage of grace. Science supports the proven theory that
objects attract each other, with the larger maintaining a greater draw. Once more,
Heaven's will is heading in the Bride's direction. Sin issued a resounding
call for remedy. Thus, the Son was dispatched toward that end. Pain, suffering,
lack and related voids are placing a demand on Our Covenant, leading once
again to the Word becoming flesh and dwelling among men, women and children as
a Living Billboard, an Epistle known and read by all. I'll be a friend to your
friends, and an enemy to your enemies. You are a Light to many. When turned
on, darkness won't be able to resist the intensity of its Source. Flip the
switch in any room. There is no subsequent delay or debate. It doesn't stay
dark for a few minutes until illumination finally wins. The results are
immediate. Vision and healing will flood into former realms of hopelessness, apathy
and despair. You have an undeniable and unstoppable unction from above. It's
the Lord's Presence that links the Christian to the previously unheard,
invisible and impossible. The world doesn't belong to the devil. The silver and
gold aren't his either. That of any true value has been reserved for the King's
domain...that locale of dominion over all mocking and opposing the Word, and
its Container...you! Overflow is in process. Meditate on the finished work of
Christ, and boldly call those things which be not as though they were, until
every atom and molecule glorifies the Maker!"
