The Bride...Heaven's Sponge!

"Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in
very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but
made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in
human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and
became obedient to death...even death on the cross! Therefore God exalted him
to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at
the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the

Picture a sponge for a moment. It's lying on the table and fully formed.
From a distance, there's no way of discerning whether the object is dry, wet or
fully satiated. As you approach the porous item, a sheen might indicate
content and condition. However, the only manner of truly being certain is to
actually touch and manually squeeze the material. In so doing, whatever is
contained within the potential fullness of that sponge will be fully revealed. You and
I are like that. If fact, everyone is. Whatever rests within will ultimately
come out, in one way or another.
Some people are narcissistic and full of themselves. Consequently, when they
speak, the content of their remarks and conversations assumes a selfish
flavor. Many seem to be bent on hobbies, other individuals and things, including
their children, homes and automobiles. When that's the case, they take every
opportunity to share those interests, frequently at the grace, mercy and
expense of the listener. In simple terms, their sponges are exuding content,
what's important to them.
Emotionally squeeze a person long enough, and what he contains will come
out, not unlike that proverbial sponge. What's within will soon be externally
expressed and identified. A person can easily be located, via thoughts, words
and actions.
We aren't responsible for all of the circumstances that happen around us.
Neither was Jesus. Often, there's a sense of not being in control. Regardless,
promotion almost solely depends upon our associated responses to those
situations and circumstances. Heaven is interested in how the Christian reacts to
challenges.
When full of self, that posture becomes obvious, as the going gets tough. On
the other hand, if the Word and Covenant richly reside on the inside of a
heart, our reactions, in all pertaining to life and godliness, will be in line
with "what is written."
Such was the case with the Savior. Christ certainly wasn't to blame for the
works of the enemy...stealing, killing and destroying. Nevertheless, He
expediently recognized and verbally identified them, then aptly operated within
His Anointing, breaking every yoke and healing all oppressed of the devil, for
God was with him. He was clearly a precise role model for us, what the Glory
had planned for the Children's future infilling of Heaven's Presence.
Let's note Christ's response, what was in Him, when darkness attempted to
plunder and intimidate this planet. Overcoming evil with good, He preached the
Gospel, cast our devils, healed the sick, and raised the dead. The Man was
radiating...internally and externally, the Love and Life of an unparalleled
Father, and did that resoundingly well. Once more, His reaction made a huge
difference to those at the other end, affording the Lord great pleasure and
results.
The Apostle Paul made one point abundantly clear. He issued a bold and
enlightening declaration. This is what the man said..."I've learned in whatsoever
state I'm in, to be independent of circumstances." The only way of enjoying
that posture is to control them...those daily trials, accusations, perceptions
and projections, knowing who you are, what your rights and privileges happen
to be. Paul went from a mentality of being "chief of all sinners," and
vitally he surely was, before that Damascus Road encounter, to "wronging no man."
What a switch! A drastic change obviously had transpired.
A new identity had been gained through the Holy Spirit's influence and
teaching. Additionally, the Body of Christ back then...relatives and friends of
the thousands oppressed and killed through the influence and actions of Saul of
Tarsus, after praying for their enemy, accepted, loved and restored him,
since they were Glory's sponges, full of, and exuding, the Son.
Contemplating the crucifixion in that Garden, along with assuming,
assimilating and experiencing every sin, sickness, death, each twinge of emotional
malaise and torment, all consequences of lack and poverty, Jesus deferred to
what was in Him...the Most High's plan, by pattern-interrupting and
shifting..."Let this cup pass from me, if at all possible. Nevertheless, not my will, but
yours be done." After all, He...the Word and will of God Personified, made
the earthly trip to manifest Heaven's heart and mindset. The Redeemer was full
of both intent and focus.
It's interesting. When one lets go of dreams and visions, takes his eyes off
Covenant, promises and personal revelations, a death process sets in. By way
of example, retirement isn't always negative, even though, after making the
switch, most people can't take a day off from that new lifestyle. How often
have men and women lost purpose, particularly if they're fully investing their
identities and destinies in a job, only to hang around for a few years, then
prematurely leave this world without true fulfillment? That isn't always the
case. Nevertheless, it happens. Even in relationships, the ambiguous loss of
a spouse, child or anyone close, can trigger all forms of negativity and
physiological changes, ultimately culminating in a deterioration of life and an
unwillingness to move forward. For lack of vision, we do perish!
Desires follow attention. When watching the Food Network, I become hungry.
Whatever people look at for sustained periods of time, they want and become.
We can use that process, which actually originated in Heaven, to activate
facets of the Contract and be a blessing in the lives of multitudes. How can that
be accomplished? Ingesting the Word, fellowshipping the Father, dying to
self, and totally surrendering when the Holy Spirit speaks, via those nudgings
and promptings, guarantee effectiveness and fulfillment.
It's high time for us to count the cost of obedience and disobedience.
Heaven abundantly rewards the former with full backing. If we refuse to sell out,
the Lord's hands become tied in many regions. Narcissistic selfishness has a
heavy price tag.
Heaven is poised to further enlighten the reader. Let's attend to its
wonderful content and spillage!
Ears To Hear!
"Precious Friend, you were certainly created in Dad's likeness and image to
hear and perform. Your whole purpose for being is to be blessed and bless,
while potentially fellowshipping the Father without ceasing. Heaven has never
placed a turnoff switch within your Receiver. Let's think about 'overcoming
evil with good,' for a minute. When someone does evil to you, isn't there a
natural desire to reciprocate in like fashion? But then, the Believer has
Jesus, Who was very super-natural! Glory always transmits instruction, purpose,
identity, vision and encouragement, since the Blood perpetually empowers
articulation of God's will. Nevertheless, the cares of this world and deceitfulness
of riches and influence easily sap energy and attention, since no human can
possibly listen to several conversations at once. Ponder this! When humanity,
Adam and Eve, originally sold out to the evil one, by committing high
treason against Heaven, both heard My Voice...'Where are you hiding?' Cain was also
able to discern the Creator's words...'Where's your brother, Abel?' Even in
their fallen state, in spite of not being filled with the Holy Spirit, they
hadn't lost ability to connect with the Throne Room. The Church, today, has no
excuse, when dealing with fellowship between the Sent and Sender, as She
embraces a new and better Covenant, houses the Third Person of the Trinity, and
is blessed through direct access to Dad's Word...incorporating will, intent
and purpose. Lay aside those weights, that sin-consciousness. Be still and
know! Revelatory knowledge arrives by way of selective hearing, focusing on the
Throne and not being sidetracked. Salute no man along the way, but recognize
and acknowledge the locale of your citizenship. You are not of this world.
Each Family Member has been sent and is present to manifest those greater
works. Having been filled with Jesus, when squeezed, he will come, exude and
manifest incredible signs, wonders and miracles, by way of Love, Light and Life.
Is it not written that faith works by love? Defer to the imparted and infused
Higher Life, while I anoint and translate former, present and future
challenges into strengths and victories, so there can be a comforting with the same
comfort, wherewith you've been comforted. Taste and see that the Lord is good.
That's an essential assignment. The Believer cannot give away what He
doesn't have. One is only as valuable as his resolve and experiences. People from
both sides are watching. I know that. Through the Bride, Christ must be
shiningly magnified and glorified. The world is to see Me in you, a keen
resemblance, as the Father's will is done on earth, exactly as it is in Heaven! Lift up
that head. Redemption is before you!"
