God's Holy War!

"For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him." 2 Chronicles 16:9

The Vision
July 9, 2004

Just moments ago, while getting ready for the day, the Holy Spirit afforded an awesome vision of artillery, not guns and missiles made with fleshly hands, but those fashioned and positioned by the Father, Himself, in Heaven. The Secret Place of the Most High was clearly His War Room and location of command. I discerned that the Commander-in-Chief was poised and eager to issue orders, mandates involving angels and yielded Soldiers, particularly in the realm of performing much sought after exploits, those previously promised "greater works than these." It was obvious that great preparation was underway. There has never been such noted activity around the Throne. A sense of all out effort and seriousness permeated the environment of this revelatory event. It's interesting how one can often actually look around during such experiences. Within a short distance, a tear, and quite a large one at that, was obvious. The Revelator immediately brought to remembrance another associated vision, which occurred days prior to that wonderful interview with Trinity Broadcasting Network's President, Dr. Paul Crouch. As we chatted, an incredible Fallout covered us with Gold Dust, before millions of viewers. During today's vision, God was readying Himself to launch missiles of deliverance and the miraculous. His sights were fixed on various parts of the world. However, as I continued observing this progressive unfolding, America was in plain view. Laser Beams of guidance shot out, preceding what would soon be a tangible display of Heaven's best day. A Shaft of Illumination pierced through the increasingly widening rent between the fabric barrier of Heaven and earth, while the United States, not unlike a decorated Christmas tree, was dotted with red laser points of Light, each representing the shed Blood of Christ on the Mercy Seat, a target for unprecedented signs, wonders and miracles. Not a single state appeared to be left out of this infusion of Glory. However, the Lord made one point very clear to me. "Paul, the greatest concentration of unleashing is slated for regions where dryness, pain and obedience have been most predominate, since nothing attracts My Presence more strongly than where people are seeking Me for their redemption. Pain is like a magnet or vacuum, placing a demand on Covenant's attention and cure. Where sin abounds, grace, indeed, much more gains ascendency."

That refreshing word really excited me. How can anyone possibly survive each day without Fresh Bread from Heaven's Kitchen? Unquestionably, we're cheating ourselves and others out of Heaven's finest, by refusing to embrace the real truth, the previously unbelievable, since most of us were trained from day one, to accept negativity and lean unto natural understanding, which can only take an individual so far... basically a dead end.

Instrumental and learned helplessness, low self-esteem, unnecessary irritability, sleepless nights, guilt, shame, fear and social introversion soon follow those refusing vision and discernment of Christ's Body, everything accomplished and given to the Church through the Savior's finished work. What's interesting to note is this. Each of the previously mentioned negatives is a component of clinical depression. Without a vision, or quickened, made-alive word from God, we don't have much of a shelf life.

Not many years ago, under a ruthless Romanian regime, scores of innocent people were killed by their deranged leader. Consequently, children lost parents, as a consequence of crimes against humanity, and were placed in orphanages and other institutions, ill equipped and under staffed to effectively meet their needs. With too few workers, infants, toddlers and others didn't receive the much required attention...nurturance and comfort, touch, validation and affirmation. Sadly, many didn't survive and went to an early grave, for lack of what the soul so desperately required. Malnutrition also certainly contributed to their demise, but, for the most part, the absence of love and human touch translated into a conversion of physical symptoms and other related maladies. Immune systems weren't there for them. Some of the survivors were later adopted and placed in superb families, but they continue struggling to this day with relationship and intimacy difficulties, including Reactive Attachment Disorder, an aversion to tactile stimuli and closeness. Again, what's most wanted...love and personal attention, becomes an enemy to them. Fortunately, even at our Clinic, we are able to turn this self-destructive mentality around with a slow and gentle presentation of both empowerment and affection, while working with their respective timetables of recovery.

Aren't people, and sometimes Christians, for the most part, similar to those orphans, resisting and resenting what is necessary to live and prosper...physically, emotionally and spiritually, while settling for the beggarly elements of this world, instead of Covenant's highest and best? What do we use as replacement defenses? Unbelief, tradition, apathy and complacency are a few walls facilitating our process of self-destruction. How frequently, in identifying with prior experiences, do people self-sabotage, for fear of being hurt or let down? I've personally witnessed this in relationships at various levels, as well as in the work place. We far too often reject each other and God, without giving love an opportunity. As spiritual anorexics, there's a propensity toward self-starvation and further denial of what's good and perfect.

Refusing Heaven's intimacy involves turning our backs on the Word and that for which the Savior's precious Blood was shed. Yes, Dad wants to vitally love the Family more than She acknowledges Her God hunger. Without that closeness, you and I can never be like Him. Neither is it possible to enjoy His myriad of benefits, or appropriately represent the Kingdom. Additionally, we remain wide open for attacks from hell, a conditioning with its genesis in earlier years of life and relationships.

God is calling us to Himself. This arrives by way of simplicity and inner holiness, a realization of who we are in Him, the fact that He first chose us. We're not our own idea. As the Creator once questioned..."Where were you when I hung the planets?"

I believe we take too much credit and subsequent responsibility for our own existence and future. You were made and programmed for health, success and greatness in Christ. We are to be walking, talking, acting and displayable billboards of Heaven's love and victory over Satan. Our advertised Product is Papa!

The Teacher has more to proclaim on this matter. Let's give Him our full attention.

Consider Not Those Former Days!

"Beloved, hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church. This isn't an hour to rest upon laurels or mistakes, but a time to look inwardly for instruction, identity and destiny. So many in this world have developed an external orientation for revelation and fulfillment, perceiving that happiness and power can only arrive through the arm of flesh and self-effort, which have always been destined to fail. Each challenge before you has its origin in the Fifth Dimension, that spirit realm. Flesh and blood cannot overcome or supersede what is birthed in a physically unseen region. Only weaponry within that same venue of operation and activity can pull down strongholds rarely recognized by natural man. What am I saying here? Within each problem is the answer. Look to the source of origin and seek the very wisdom attracted by your challenge for remedy. Heaven is poised to provide the Object of its Affection with whatever is needed for that pertaining to life and godliness. Are you prepared for some Good News? What's contested is being anointed! Has it not been written that the weak must proclaim strength, which prolifically breeds in an atmosphere of quietness and confidence? One of the most tangible confirmations of My Word is resistance of any form. Those are clear-cut ploys of the enemy, designed to promote fainting and a redirection of vision. Hell so badly wants the Kids to feel that they somehow missed the mark, misunderstood Me, or fabricated the revelation on their own. Nothing could be further from the truth, since I've made a related point clear from the beginning. You will never be given a stone for a loaf of bread. A second line of defense is the fact that if the Believer strays to the left or right, there will be a Voice behind him saying, 'No, this is the way. Walk ye in it!' Even as I speak, discern the palpable Presence of the Holy Spirit. He's astoundingly real, and I Am placing within your heart a yearning to know Him even better. When you fathom the Standby's commitment to that walk and ministry, they'll never be a question about vision or success. The Church will proceed into Her Glory to Glory progression, one by one, recognizing those former days of deceit, doom and gloom. Don't look back at doors that have been closed by My hand. Instead, even when finding yourself in a corridor of waiting, realize that newness is just before you. Be still! In that stillness will follow a knowing...gifts of faith and revelatory unveilings. You are not alone. We are about to celebrate together. I know the plans slated for you. Oh, see through My eyes of faith! Nothing will be withheld from this end. Remember, all begins with a vision and confession. Use your time and tongue wisely!"
