Faith's Expectancy!
"And their works do follow them." Revelation 14:13
"Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its
fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit." Matthew 12:33
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let
us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and
let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes
on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him
endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the
throne of God." Hebrews 12:1-2
"Then I heard a voice from Heaven say, 'Write: Blessed are the dead who die
in the Lord from now on.' 'Yes,' says the Spirit, 'They will rest from their
labor, for their deeds will follow them.'" Revelation 14:13
Since the last prophetic word from this ministry, and in line with its
content, two mighty Generals of the faith movement have been promoted to their
respective rewards. Both ran a wonderful race, and are now among that great cloud
of witnesses, cheering the Body of Christ on, excited about what's yet to come.
They are perceiving Heaven's plan from a different, yet undistorted and pure,
vantage point.
Derek Prince has always been an inspiration to me. I was deeply impressed
with his understanding of Covenant and the Father's heart. Without question,
Derek's life and commitment influenced the lives of millions.
Kenneth Hagin, or Dad Hagin, as many know him, is likely the epitome of whom
we can become in Christ, through yielding, believing the Word and walking in
the Spirit. If it hadn't been for the obedience of that profoundly special man,
I, personally, wouldn't even be here. Neither would this ministry.
We first met, years ago, in Lakeland, Florida. Kenneth was holding a crusade
in that city, and I was at the end of a twenty-one day tour of Texas and
Florida. From that point on, Paul Gervais would never be the same. What was
discerned during our conversation truly impacted me. Dad Hagin was solid in his
faith. He knew the Word well, and had unique compassion for the hurting.
When visiting my second home in Southern California, I often visit Kathryn
Kuhlman's private burial garden, near L. A. Cleaning her bronze memorial and
placing roses on the grave seem to really generate a sense of Heavenly
satisfaction. A special Presence is always enjoyed there. I just love to sit on the
grass and read the Word, while the Holy Spirit imparts the prophetic. Almost
invariably, God will challenge me with two questions: "Paul, when are you going to
fully obey Me and completely sell out? How do you want to be known?" He
doesn't mess around.
Life is about decisions, or votes, if you will. Spirit and matter are in
constant change. Nothing ever remains the same, not even emotions. The Bible tells
the Church that She is transitioning from one level of Glory to another,
which necessitates frequent midcourse corrections. However, in order to
successfully reach new plateaus, man's free moral agency has to kick in and decide.
There's no room for halting between two opinions when following Him. We are all
being strongly encouraged to "get with the program!"
That's precisely where we are today...in the valley of decision. Time is
short. Regardless of individual expectations concerning the timetable of Jesus'
return for the Bride, those around us need a vital Savior now. Opportunities for
manifestation are passing us by every day.
Each human has a window that opens and closes with the seasons. No man can
come to the Father, unless the Spirit is drawing that person. In order to
cooperate with Heaven's intent of reaching souls, the Christian must first be
knowledgeable of God's willingness and eagerness to fellowship His Children. We need
to recognize what's important in the eyes of our Creator. His mindset and
focus haven't change a bit. The Creator's after hearts, ours and theirs! You and
I are that Spout where the Glory comes out.
In three-and-a-half years of ministry, Jesus was astoundingly successful,
since the Master remained plugged into the Throne Room. He was invariably about
the Father's business. Mankind couldn't sidetrack Him with their cares,
religiosity or schemes. His face was as flint. Every movement produced a miracle of
some form. The libraries of this entire world couldn't possibly contain the
volumes required to document Christ's works during that brief period.
Nevertheless, He tells us that we're to perform even greater exploits, in a new season of
dispensation. That amazes me. Without question, the hour of self-inventory
has arrived, and we need to vote in the obedience department!
You might be thinking, "How can the Lord use me? Look at what I've done. Even
when repenting, there a tendency to replicate my old behavior!" Well, you're
in pretty good company.
In my Miracle Rallies, I often clear the air before Heaven manifests, by
saying, "There's nothing special about me. Although I need not miss the mark on a
single score, it happens. To the extent that Paul doesn't yield, he sins! This
service will be successful because I've been anointed and am being obedient
to my call. Beyond that, you're here. The Power Agent wants to do His thing.
This is the day of Outpouring. God's throwing a party, and we're all invited.
It's just like that!"
Some think that holiness is a behavior. No! It's a Person! The Blood of the
Lamb and finished work of Christ make us holy. The Family catches Heaven's
fish. Cleaning them remains the Holy Spirit's job.
The only way we can accurately portray Dad is by selling out. Walking in the
Spirit translates into not fulfilling the lusts of the flesh. It isn't the
other way around. Some often proclaim, "A person has to clean himself up, if he
wants to be like God." That's ridiculous! The Most High makes us like Him,
spiritually and physically, as we spend time fellowshipping the Father, and
seeking those things, which are above. Yieldedness is mandatory. But we were His
decision. He made us in His likeness and image.
The Spirit-led journey is one of holiness, in thought, behavior and
manifestation. Think of it! Individuals, the created, get saved by using the Creator's
faith. In other words, He provides the needed tools, and we simply will in
Heaven's direction!
It's time to step aside and permit the Revelator to perform His task. Let's
listen to the Glory!
Every Knee Bows!
"Beloved, Heaven has generated a new sound. Be still for a moment, and hear
the bending of knees. I Am presenting that prophetic unveiling for such a time
as this, to let you know that Glory's Hour is fast approaching, a period when
former enemies will be seen no more. Every knee, literally and figuratively,
in, under and on the earth, must bow. Dad is talking about all, pertaining to
life and godliness. Creation awaits this juncture of restoration and
reconciliation. Tongues will surely confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, since His Name
will soon promote and produce an unprecedented, unpredictable, unparalleled
onslaught of the miraculous. As in any good trial, legal representatives reserve
and present a preponderance of their evidence toward the end of proceedings,
not at the beginning. True and fair judgment only follows full disclosure. Why
would I have it any other way, since the Blood Covenant is a legal contract,
based upon empirical proof...past, present and future? Christ's Blood on the
Mercy Seat articulates Love, Light and Life without ceasing. We will have the
final word in this war over destinies. For the record, I Am a Winner. Can you
think of a single occasion when the Family has ever lost a battle? Father knows
how to care for His own. May I make a request? Cease using My Name in vain. Let
Me further clarify intent. This isn't in reference to swearing, but praying!
Utilizing that Name in vain means praying in Jesus' Name, without expecting
anything to happen. We are at a point in history when visible Power is being
restored. The very mention of the Risen One will produce a corresponding display
of signs and wonders, while the Word takes on flesh before the eyes of
millions. It's time to build upon the foundation of the prophets. Heaven's House is
being erected, and the gates of hell won't be able to prevail against My Bride.
I have spoken, and so shall it be!"
