A Bountiful Eye!
"He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to
the poor." Proverbs 22:9 (KJV)
"You brought me out of the womb. You made me trust in you even at my mother's
breast." Psalm 22:9
"The (single) eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are good (single),
your whole body will be full of light (revelational knowledge). But if your
eyes are bad, your whole body will be full of darkness." Matthew 6:22-23
"He replied, 'Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you
have faith as small as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move
from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible to you.'"
Matthew 17:20
Contemplate the innocence of youth. Make a promise to a child, and he has
little difficulty accepting and believing that promise. The terrible twos and
threes are really a stage where a person attempts to perceive his environment
as safe, wanting nothing more than to freely share feelings, thoughts,
opinions and concerns. The moment someone isn't there for that child,
suppression, repression and dissociation become the norm, with thoughts, in
essence, that say, "Nobody really cares. If I share my heart, either there
won't be an active listener, or someone will hurt me with words or actions.
So, it's best to hold this in." Consequently, confidence is lost, even at
that early age, and the erosion of trust often promotes, and results in,
psychopathology.
Having been made in the Father's likeness and image, you and I find
communication both natural and healthy. Before the fall of man, the Garden of
Eden was a most tranquil place, as God was present for us, communicating
freely. There was no abandonment, rejection, fear, guilt, shame and sin.
Humanity was, and still is, His primary focal point. Fellowship and blessing
were God's highest intent for the Family. Nothing has changed. Choices were
made because of man's free moral agency. Satan did his job well. Communion
was broken. Misery replaced the Glory. Daddy wept. We became aware of our
nakedness...spiritually, soulishly and physically.
Two-thousand years ago, Heaven's Gem entered this atmosphere and paid the
ultimate price, forever settling that sin issue. Fellowship is now restored.
The Church, via the Blood of Christ, has been reignited with Heaven's Glory,
from the loins up and down. The Author and Finisher of Faith has again
reconnected the line of communication, having made His ministers a flaming
fire! We no longer embrace sin-consciousness, since the Bride has now become
the exact righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, a marvelous exchange of
identity!
How long has it taken us to journey from the naivete of youth to the
skepticism of adults and even Believers, which is often a contradiction of
terms? How did all that transpire? The answer remains obvious...the cares of
this world, being educated beyond our intelligence, embalmed in unbelief,
injured in the house of friends, trusting the untrustworthy and walking by
sight. We took our eyes off faith and attendance to that first love. In
moving from the Father's greatness, there was a sinking into whatever the
world's thoughts are.
God is calling us to an unparalleled, unprecedented relationship.
Transparency leads to intimacy. We must boldly access the Throne Room to
"reason together" with the most reasonable Person in the universe. He is not
beyond listening to each thought and petition. What you feel matters a whole
lot to Him. We exist for the Lord. Nevertheless, Papa forever lives for us!
You and I are surely the focal point of the Creator's bountiful eye of
provision and protection.
What is the meaning of a "single (bountiful) eye?" You've heard of that
well-known song..."I'll Aways Have Eyes For You." We can do no wrong in
Papa's mind. God envisions us prophetically, through the eyes of the
Crucified Christ, calling those things which be not as though they were,
until each becomes. He sees ultimate abundance of everything from Rain to
provision. The Body has been commanded to maintain a "bountiful eye" through
the Word, Heaven's Compass and Plumbline, while setting aside prejudices and
biases, cultivating a reprogramming and renewal of that old mindset, a
yieldedness to the Blood's perception of all creation.
The Church is Glory's Voice on this planet. We are the people who belong to
Him, as Joint-Heirs. The earth is the Lord's, as well as the fullness
thereof. Sin, sickness, poverty, death and defeat are ours to reverse. As we
journey into those fields, white unto harvest, the enemy and his infestation
of sin's byproducts will take flight.
The Word has much to say about mountains. Physically speaking, they were
placed here for our enjoyment, as part of God's expression of His majesty. On
the other hand, the Bible also portrays mountains as obstacles...symptoms,
situations and circumstances that attempt to get in the way of Covenant and
destiny. Under those contrary conditions, we have been commanded to speak
unto every roadblock (mountain), believing in agreement with what it written,
until the rock literally moves and is cast into the sea of obliteration and
forgetfulness.
Mountains also have a voice, don't they? Each seems to speak through fear,
threatenings, apathy and helplessness. That's why going to the Word and
Throne Zone is paramount. Again, no revelation from God is void of the Power
necessary to bring itself, those promises, to pass. Faith-filled words
dominate the law of sin and death.
The Creator resides in His creation. Therefore, that which originated in Him
must yield to His words. What are they? The answer can be found within the
Christian. We've entered a new plateau of Spirit-imparted knowledge, where
fear rings the doorbell, and faith swiftly answers.
Satan has no place in the Church. He isn't to mess with the Bride. Just as
the digestive process, in addition to other processes in the natural body,
works without thought, so do our words. Once launched through anointed lips,
Energy is released, and Heaven's "Smart Bombs" laser in on targets of
darkness, never missing the mark. The Spirit of Truth is the Light that
guides each utterance to its respective point of delivery. Reversing
captivity, via reconciliation and restoration, lies within the Mind that
directs impact.
The Revelator is determined to invigorate and excite the Church. Let's give
ear to His pep talk!
Overcoming Faith!
"Redeemed Child, there's no room in your walk for fear, which is simply
perverted faith. If you'll recognize that anxiety is strictly hell's
smokescreen of the Glory, a stand will be taken to pattern-interrupt those
threatenings and contrary thoughts with My quickened, made-alive Word. The
evil one is only doing his pathetic job. Like a kidnapper, He attempts to
lure Children into his trap, utilizing temptation and fear to negatively
motivate the hearer. Remain in that Secret Place of the Most High, My
Presence, and Satan's wiles will be obvious and ineffective. There is a
difference between toughing out a trial and intentionally applying faith as a
tool to the situation. The mountain invariably speaks through projections of
fear and paralysis. Don't be concerned about its size or nature. Consider
David and Goliath...another mountain. David, believing, spoke to that
obstacle, and the rest of that story is history. Some see only the mountain,
but you are to envision that Gold, the Glory, within the challenge. Without a
giant, there can be no effective manifestation of Heaven's Presence. Only the
thirsting and hungry can fully appreciation water and sustenance. You are to
be far from all oppression. Again, don't permit the mountain to speak to, or
through, you. Our words possess untold authority. Command that stumbling
stone to be removed and remitted. The very elements will obey your Voice!
Imagine the smiles coming out of a true revelation of Who I Am! I can see
them now, through My single, bountiful eye of faith. But you must speak! Just
as one cannot simultaneously entertain two thoughts, the Bride is to bring
every projection and suggestion into captivity. Use your Peace Meter to
confirm content. Discernment is automatic, as I am acknowledged in all your
ways. Doesn't it take the same amount of energy to walk by faith or fear? In
fact, much more is required if the latter is chosen, since fear promotes
torment. Are you interested in a little key that will set the adversary to
flight? When he endeavors to resurrect your past and introduce a proposed
uncertain future, remind him of the Red Sea and Calvary. Enjoy witnessing his
backside flee truth and your solid stand!"
