From the Desk of Doctor Paul ...
"Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the
husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long
patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain." James 5:7
"Glory and honour are in his (God's) presence; strength and gladness are in his place." 1 Chronicles 16:27
Great excitement is in the air! The rain has begun! Reports of mighty signs and wonders are being openly voiced, as this earth is filled with the "knowledge of the Glory of God."
At a recent Fishnet gathering in Rutland, Vermont, the Holy Spirit moved, again, in His way, for the Father's glory, literally filling, or replacing, teeth with pure gold. Twenty-five individuals are walking around, today, astounding many with their incredible testimonies. Dentists present, who were participants at the conference, confirmed the manifestation. One exclaimed, "This is pretty good work!" Three recipients were from the Greater Augusta area.
What does this really mean, Paul? Well, first of all, it's certainly a confirmation that God is alive, well and fulfilling His promise to flood this globe with unprecedented signs, wonders and miracles. Of great importance is to avoid explaining everything the Father does. For He's management, and we are sales! The Lord can do whatever He chooses and really doesn't need our permission. The Church is being prepared for strong meat and an unparalleled influx of souls. The best is yet to come. Our job is to believe for that imminent Glory. Hasn't He promised to fill our mouths with good things, even if it means gold fillings? This is just the beginning of that which is to be poured out!
The Father recently accorded a moving vision. In it, I perceived a stream with many rocks, some large, others small. Around each flowed the most pristine water one could ever imagine. The Word of the Lord came to me saying, "Paul, those stones represent my children who are stuck and refuse to flow in the Spirit. Some are clinging to worldly possessions, cares and fears. Others are concerned about letting go and trusting Me. Even though they are being impacted, to some extent, by the Glory, there remains a struggle. A few will break loose and proceed with the current. Yet, not all will totally yield to My will. Consequently, I will have to circumvent mentalities that are not in line with the Blood-bought Covenant. For nothing can stop the great floodtide of Life that is about to impact this world. However, it is within my plan to continue tugging at hearts, promoting mid-course corrections and directions, obedience to the nudgings and promptings. Those yielding to the Spirit will be transformed, from Glory to Glory, into living, or lively stones, singing forth praises and performing greater works. This is the hour for My Body to shine. The sleeping giant (Church) is about to arise, with mighty authority, a miracle-working anointing and burning desire to set at liberty, all bruised by the enemy. An unprecedented love for souls will be the foundation of that move. Get ready! Sell out entirely. To the extent each child lays down the lower life, that higher walk in Me will be realized. In these final days, the Bride will resemble the Groom, more than ever before, in Spirit, soul, body and deed! Plainly speaking, my children will act and look exactly like the One they represent. A quick work will I do, astounding even those vessels used. Then shall I come with majesty, glory and honor."
Let's delve into that Glory. It is surely more than just a goose bump, but a manifestation of His very essence and nature.
Both in the natural and spiritual realms, one can keenly sense the pulse beat of the Father's heart, a sense of urgency and invigorating expectation. The Word is in manifestation, everywhere. Prophesies are being fulfilled. Events have been witnessed that would cause the very prophets of old to become envious. We need to recognize that God has built, within each Christian, a guidance (radar) system. The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, the place in which He makes known His desires and will. It's time for us to trust the indwelling Spirit of Truth, as we wake up to Heaven's Glory.
"When can I expect that outpouring?" Well, the season is upon us. But most Believers have a vague comprehension of that Glory. To many, it is merely a religious term, or some kind of spiritual thrill that produces chill bumps.
The true definition of the Father's Glory is His manifest Presence, much more powerful than any sense-realm encounter. Consequently, before we can truly begin to expect it, there must exist an understanding of what that word actually means.
1 Chronicles says, "Glory and honor are in God's Presence." The English language has a rather weak definition, in describing that topic. It can mean splendor, but also embraces boasting and pride, which, actually, have nothing at all to do with the Father's Glory.
The Hebrew translation for glory means "desire, adornment, honor, beauty, majesty, cleanliness, purity, preciousness, rarity, weight and heaviness." So, when one says, God is glorious, the implication is this. He is heavy with everything good...prosperity, healing, deliverance, salvation, provision, signs, wonders and miracles. If that body needs to be healed, your Father is heavy with an anointing to get the job accomplished. Are you short on finances? His Glory is heavy with them! We are to always have all sufficiency, in all things, pertaining to life and Godliness.
What we're talking about here is living (abiding) in the heaviness of His Presence, until that Power breaks through into the natural realm. That will happen, more and more, as we completely surrender to Him. Physical manifestations will increase, as faith pulls that which is seen, into the realm of the unseen!
We are living in that prophetic hour, prophesied by Zechariah: "Ask of the Lord rain in the time of the latter and spring rain. It is the Lord Who makes lightnings, which usher in the rain and give men showers of it, to every one grass in the field."
In this verse (Zechariah 10:1) he wasn't simply referring to natural rain or lightnings, but to that bright, shining cloud of God's Glory that would usher in the outpouring of the Spirit, opening the way for an end-time harvest of souls. He was pointing to the same day James was talking about in the New Testament.
Both Zechariah and James were given a glimpse into what was going to occur, immediately preceding Jesus' return. That's our day! The Presence has begun to flash all around us, while the rain descends on the just and unjust, alike.
Just think! The Father has chosen us, this generation of Believers, to assist, as He ushers in the Glory. What an honor that is! But, with that honor, or privilege, comes an awesome responsibility. We cannot afford to sit around, playing church, without giving thought to the meaning of that manifest Presence.
No! Our mandate is to follow the example of the Apostle Paul, with a determined purpose to know Him, the Anointed One and His Anointing, to be acquainted with Dad's burden-removing, yoke-destroying Power, and to know the Power of His Resurrection, which, according to Romans 6:5, is the Glory of God (Philippians 3:10). The Christian must move forward, until he, or she, comes to an understanding of His latter-day plan.
Some might say, "Paul, I'm not seeking His Glory, only the Father's heart. That provides contentment."
But, you can't separate the two...Jesus, the Anointed One and His Anointing, from the Glory. How can we extract the Holy Spirit, or the Creator, from that Presence? In no way is that possible! They are all One...all glorious! Remember, the Glory is the manifestation of God, Himself. As we seek Him, signs and wonders will directly follow, since that is how He confirms the revealed Word!
"Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice. For the Lord will do great things. I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth...blood, fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be delivered." Joel 2:21, 30-32
We need to understand that when those verses talk about blood, fire and pillars of smoke, they are not alluding to destruction, but manifestations that are to arrive before that day. They are the signs and wonders in the heavens above and the earth beneath, during the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Notice a key line in that portion of Scripture..."Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be delivered." That's not destruction, but liberation and revival!
I once asked the Lord about how all that would unfold. Why would the sun not shine? The answer arrived swiftly. "That Cloud of My Presence will be so dense, it will block out all natural light!"
The shekinah Cloud of God was evidenced in the Old and New Covenants. In the Old, Israel viewed the pillar of smoke in the daytime and a pillar of fire at night. That same fire appeared on the Day of Pentecost.
One day, that Glory will be so thick on entire cities, people won't be able to see the sunshine, a condensation impacting all creation with God's greatest display. The enemy's head has surfaced too frequently. He has been allowed to make the first move on the chess board and take his best shot. But, Daddy is about to vitally win the game and clean that boy's clock!
Do you desire to be a part of this? Then, get ready! People are about to drop to their knees on streets, having been struck by the Power of the Spirit...rain that will obliterate sin, sickness, poverty and death, on the spot, right before the eyes of all humanity. Multitudes will run to churches, as whole cities and nations turn to Jesus.
Heaven and earth have never been closer. One is about to mirror the other. The voice of the Lord will be heard more clearly than ever. He will tell you what to say and do, how to pray. Yield to Him, without reservation. Don't hold back!! Flow with that wonderful stream of Glory, until you hear these precious words..."Come up hither!"
